Tara Proper
Business Coach/Owner

Tara spent 28 years in the financial services industry, most recently in the role of Executive Vice-President and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Equitable. During her time at Equitable, the team achieved top investment results in the industry, and implemented new technology and process changes to manage the rapid growth the success brought. What she is most proud of is the top talent she recruited and developed, "people are what makes a company great".
Tara sits on the board of directors at MiCredito, a Central American MicroFinance Company; MEDA, an international development agency, and owns a farm in Nicaragua.
Tara holds an Honours Bachelor of Math, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Management (FRM) charter holder.
Brent Hempey

Brent Hempey is co-founder of The Delivery Guys Inc. and Kargo Today Inc.. He opened a warehouse and logistics business in Kitchener Ontario in 1999 and has successfully expanded it into a multimillion dollar business across Southern Ontario. He attributes the success of his businesses a commitment to the company values of respect, and teamwork, and the commitment to provide high quality service.
Brent has been an entrepreneur for 30 years, and in addition to his knowledge and leadership skills as a small business owner he has a commitment to making life fun that brings joy to conversations with him.
